Simple things such as illusions and mishearing stuff are a part of the reason why senses made it onto the list. Other than these small things, the senses are a relatively undoubtable part of our lives.

Our senses such as touch are accurate and indisputable. For example, If you are holding an apple in your hand, you can feel the weight of the apple in you your palm. If you rub your fingers on the skin of the apple, you can either feel a smooth or rough surface depending on the area you are touching.
